(note: level 96+ is required for this)

Introduction
- One of the ways i levelled my maniac was by quest resets, me and Splatter got pretty damn slick at it, below is a guide on how to do them efficiently. I figure i should help the community a bit since a lot complain about levelling difficulty

- Non-resettable quest lines are great (ie dallas, detroit, aztec, lijiang, etc) but can only be done once, this trick can be done as often as you want.

- The idea is synergy, combining as many quests at once in order to level fast.
- You'll be resetting gaius, fausta, murat, and mustafa and running all 4 quests together, in total, you'll get a ton of conqueror boxes, 9m xp to entire group in quest bonuses, a ton of stamina, a solidus coin, orban cannon and wheel lock musket, and all the exp/loot from killing the mobs.

- Even at 116, i am currently using this, scrolling my (1-95 viking in 1-2 days) and my 105 dark archer, and getting stamina back from quest bonuses to give near infinite scrolling stamina, not to mention 9mil exp for my entire formation each run, i do 1 run in around 3-4(max) hours.
so at worst... 9m xp/4 = 2.25m xp/hour, 37500 xp/minute for mercs that arent even getting the exp from the fights

Requirements:
- Level 96+
- Gun/cannon crafts 9+
- Tool craft 7+

Start:
- It's best to get all the items the quest need straight away before you start, i tend to buy 5x quantities to ensure i have all i need for 5 complete runs of the quests, rather than continually buying them individually, below are the items required for one "set" of the quests.

Quest items to craft (can be pre-crafted):
- Ordinary info box
- Bandanna
- Mold

Additional materials to get:
- 500 Ironclad bullets
- 500 Flame cannonballs
- 100 Roasted mutton
- 100 Weak gunpowder
- 300 Gold ingots
- 200 Common silk
- 210 Silver ore (im assuming you always have plenty of nickel from grinding, otherwise grab 21 nickel in addition)
- Materials to craft two ogre items (cannon+gun but mats are same)
- 10 Captured eagles


Quest order:

*** stars next to the step means the mob is great for scrolling
*** freezing scrolls are best

Note: after each identified step, ensure all quests are handed in and do the "filler" (non-kill) quests between them

*** 1) Go to conscripts and get killing

As soon as you get the 30 key bundles for gaius and the 50 broken farming tools for murat, go to gaius to hand in his quests until he gives you 35 militia magicians, the screenshot below shows the best place to do these



*** 2) After these quests you'll be on byzantines, fight at the end of the chalke area

As soon as you have the 25 commander's report (murat) go hand it in immediately because he'll next ask for 40 warrior kills, after handing it in, go back to the end of chalke until the 40 warrior kills are complete for murat (the other quests should be done by this point easily)


3) Hand in all the quests, and you should now need to kill officers and collect their spears, go to the bailey and move through the level until the first archway with two officer spawns near the elephants, bewitch some nearby elephants and keep killing these squads until both quests are complete

Tip: Officers are scrollable but survive better than other byzantines, and you'd need a decent attack title for them, additionally you will have to wait for the two squads to link together to save stamina, in this aspect the elephant bewitches are a much better option.


4) It's now time for elephants on 3 of the quests (30 kills/40 kills/25 delivery logs), bewitch here at the elephants near the officers in the archway until they're done



5) After handing all in, you should now have two time based quests for murat/mustafa:
- Use the treasure map asap
- Do fausta's "talk to mustafa" quest
- Teleport to palace and walk back into bailey to collect the quest item from the chest at the end of the map for murat

- Then go back into the palace to wait to collect the treasure map quest item for mustafa (location is random but always inside palace)



6) Now for the horses, start by bewitching crazy byzantine knights near the end of the bailey (before the archway) until you get the 40 kills for them



*** 7) Next is suspicious contracts/cataphract knights, do these under the archway next to the crazy byzantine knights, either bewitch the crazy byzantine knights and massacre the cataphracts, or freezing scroll them (easy 3 group fights if not busy)

tip: these monsters are weak to freezing scrolls
If you're finding too few knights in that spot, the side areas next to the portal have a better chance of having cataphract knights



8) Hand all these in, then it's time for some bosses, teleport to palace, walk back into bailey and bewitch a few groups of cavalry, then attack Giustiniani for fausta's kill and murat's loot (sealed ingot box) quests.

after doing this, head back in to the palace and take out the haunted archbishop boss for mustafa.




9) It's time to clean up fausta/gaius now, go to the bailey and get gaius's 20 elephant cannon's quest, do that (party or bewitch) and hand in, the screenshot below shows the best place to find the cannoneers:

After this, go to the bocchiardo's to kill 1st+3rd for gaius/fausta quests (complete)

Tip: For the bocchiardo's, take friends with you if you can, clear the monsters and make sure to not aoe as you will have to fight them again to get the quest kills if the very fragile second bocchiardo dies


*** 10) murat/mustafa move into palace now, go there and scroll or bewitch the slave warriors at the start of the palace for their old diaries



11) after doing this, move a little further into the palace to the crazy slaves/necromancers in palace to do the 40 crazy slave warrior kill quest
tip: these monsters are very aggressive, make sure you bring bewitches with you or ideally do this with friends



*** 12) hand these in then go do 30 slave commander notebooks (at the back of palace near constantinus portal), scroll or bewitch, easy mob to take out.



*** 13) now you should be on red snares / dark priests, these are relatively easy to scroll if you have aoe's, i tend to use smoke bomb/seal/chainsaw blade against up to 3 squads, (to weaken them slightly for a scroll kill), alternatively just bewitch or party



*** 14) hand in the priests as soon as it's done and then do the cardinals the same way at the same place


15) kill byzantine emperor shade, and mustafa/murat are done.



for those of you having problems, whether it is affording scrolls to do this, difficulty in the fights, etc. my advice is team with a friend or two, this will save you on the bewitching scroll costs and often make you all far more effective than trying this alone.
ideally this guide is for a higher level with decent equipment and spare gold seeking to powerlevel some mercs or their entire party infact, which is why it was such a potent strategy for me and my fellow maniac splatter.
