Weapon repair

A question to anyone out there that repairs their gear on a regular basis. I recently repaired a +7 destroyer spear. It was at 74/140. After repair it dropped the max durability down 5. The same thing happened on another weapon that I repaired. My question though is this:

Has anyone repaired one of the main character only weapons that only have a durability of 10? Does it drop the total durability to 5? Has anyone dropped the max durability of a weapon to 0? What happens when a weapon hits 0 durability?

Repairing always reduces the durability by 5, even on a 10/10 durability weapon. Therefore, after its first repair, the durability will be 5/5. After a second repair, the durability becomes 1/1. Maximum durability cannot go below 1, but the weapon is practically useless by that point anyway.

Then you try to enhance it, or enchant it. :p

That I didn't know. Good stuff. Is it also true that all +10 gear does away with durability? I noticed on some spears I was enchanting that from like +5 - +9 they all had durability. Then at +10 it was just removed and could be used indefinitely. Is this true of all gear?

All gear has no durability at +10.

Yea, at +10, it's tradeable again and it has no durabilty.

when you enchants a weapon to the next lvl, duarbilty will be refill to full again.

Durability doesn't really go down much either. I've been using the same weapons for 20 levels and with a enchantment everynow and again they hardly drop below -5 from max

Of course on normal gear it doesn't matter much. However I was looking at the main character only weps in particular. They WILL run out pretty fast, especially with a durability of only 10.

durability is a killer, wait till u get main only weps >.< 10 durability =( u gotta enchant those asap, those have durability even without upgrades
