You can buy them in the item mall now, and if you don't want to, save up money and buy one in the market when you can. But it's like every other game - some things are more expensive than others, and you have to level up and save to get it. No one's going to hold your hand or price things low just because you want them.

You can be lucky that you can buy a skill-reset book. In the most Free to Play games you MUST buy it from the Item Mall - otherwise you cant get one. So im happy with it. :D

Keep on lvling, on higher lvl youll get more money.

just keep lvling, and buy it off at the market.

Dont worry about the skil reset book so much. Once you lv higher moeny will come faster and IMO i find protect better at the beginning anyway,

And if you are a still at a low lvl, and rly want to redistribute the skills, u can hire a new monk :P.... he will eventually catch up with the rest of your team.

Don't bother redistributing. You want Protect at 60 at higher levels anyways.

while we're on the topic of complaining abt prices, im complaining how all my gears don't cost 1g each =( spending so much time farming >_< same w/ crystals.... :(

but srsly, everything comes w/ a price, just thing of skill reset as a really expensive rare item that u need....i think it cost less than a jewel no?

all the good things are obtainable in this game... (well most), it just takes some effort that many people lack (like farming crystals, etc)

when i knew about SOP, i made the decision to get it and like you, i didn't have enough money too. so i suffered with protect stuck at lvl 1 until i saved enough gold to buy the skill reset book. just suck it up.

Protect > SOP if your main is in the front !
<<< at least that what i think.
Redo oracle quest give u 5 skil resets i think.

personally i prefer protect even if my main isnt tank in front row (for example cannoner-main)
The pay-off from shield of protection is just soo small - at least in my oppinion ;)

I was thinking the exact opposite. Do you have anymore facts/ info

Eh, you don't need shield of protect for the early levels anyways, I think. The early levels are easy, so you can just wait until you're higher level to switch it out. In the meanwhile, instead of levelling up your protect, focus on levelling up awakening and holy guard (both also powerful skills that will need a few skill points put into them)

skill reset books are a luxury for mid/higher leveled players who can afford them. if you need it solely for your desperate need for SoP, you will find a way of affording them eventually :)

ive gotten skill resets on game events so just afk a lot and you never know. and 1 point is not that much considering he has 4 skills and you can learn all 4 at around 40-50

Taikan

Hmm... you can only have one passive skill... SoP and Protect are passive... so ui can't have all 4...

there are more people selling them for ingame gold now that they are in the cash shop... be happy that the price has gone down slightly :)

Why would it sucks for low level?...
Just fire that dude and find a new one.... do it while you are still *young*

Like other said, you need a skill reset book to get SoP - you need to unlearn protect in order to learn SoP because they're both passive skills.

Just the fact that you say it's not fair is kind of a turn off to this thread, it kind of sounds like your whining...

sop aka shield of protection

thailehuy

That depends.

On ranger I prefer Protect, but on frontline main I prefer SoP

Just wait till you're high level and buy it then. Not a big deal to have a few wrong skills early game.

well i'd have to agree with the guy its really expensive thou i am high lvl i can't afford to buy 22 of those books maybe a few at a time but still for low lvls its really much for my it was just a matter of not knowing

If you want SoP, go pop a treasure chest or two, sell the contents, and buy it ^^. The profits will equal out the (current) cost of skill resets after about 3 runs.

Well skill reset books are currently 200-300k (on Sikyon)

It shouldn't be that hard to gather that much money by lvl 25ish considering you get 100k at 20.

Spydermage
11-28-2008, 04:49 PM
it used to cost 500k to 600k... :) i sold a few myself...

Wraythe

i just realized skill reset books are fair for newbs since 1 skill doesnt matter in the beginning and by the time you will need that 1 point 200k is nothing. since at 20 or 30 you can have 3 different skills.
