Hello people! ^^
I've been wondering whether or not I should get an exorcist, since I've heard they're pretty useful and they look pretty cool... If I do get an exo, who should I replace in my formation? By the way, I'm a level 57 Axe.
Current Formation:
:swm::bst::malehero:
:spm::witc::gun:
:mnk::sha::arc:
And a viking in storage
If you'd like, post comments/questions/concerns on my formation if anything.
And thanks ahead of time!

Yeah, add an Exo if you plan on pvp'ing at all. I'd probably drop it in for the gunner.

Gunner is the weakest link in your formation at the moment. However don't forget you will want to pick up a Prophet too down the road so maybe you should replace your Sword with Exo and then the Gunner with Prophet later.

Is the Exo a good replacement for the swordsman in terms of a good front for both PvE and PvP?
(I haven't really been active in PvP btw)

Yeah he can handle frontline pretty well after level 80~ Be ready to switch him tho, so don't put someone you want to switch him with directly behind him. :)

Alright, so once I get my Exo, I shall replace him with my swordsman, since I'm still attached to my Gunner (She's been with me since the beginning >.<). xP
I appreciate your help, guys and or gals! :heart:

If rarely or never PvP exo will be wasted and sword will be better. If you do PvP or plan on doing so you surely want an exo and yes, replacing a sword at the front is the most logical placement.

Exo/Main/BT frontline with Gunner/Witch/Spear in midline is going to be very fragile and really doesn't have much synergy. I'd recommend dropping the gunner or the spear, or if you must drop the sword then maybe consider using two spears or something instead of gunner/spear. (was going to say maybe Gunner/Arty but I think that exacerbates your melee vulnerability even more and I think you'd have a hole in your line before you could get much stun pressure going)
I prefer to pvp as I go though, and it seems like a lot of folks focus exclusively on projected end-game performance, so if that is your focus my concerns regarding the front line may be unfounded since it seems like Guardian Stones and level 80 upgrades change the dynamic in terms of tanking abilities.

Treech is right. Imo either go 2x spears or zero. So make your midline something like:
Spear/Spear/Witch or
Arti/Cannon/Witch
