Why hello thar. Firstly thanks for reading, secondly, i only recently started playing again after a year or so out. i had a 95 staff main lying about which i quickly got to 100 and have since been playing the powersaw as my priority to "get back into it"

I remember when i used to play the importance of stunning, and have made what i feel is pretty solid for stunning, however something has "piqued" my interests, it goes by the name of "spike" builds, while i guess its fairly straight forward what it means, due to my extremely limited knowledge of the game since powersaws were released as a main ^^

Anyway. Could someone kindly explain the ins and outs of a spike build, and its general aim to give me a better picture.

Secondly, this is my current build, it has a lot of stun potential, and now i have my exorcist, (finally) I feel i have complete control over the outcome of a free league game, in an ideal scenario of course.

So far its proving to work out really well for me, all who can train them have deadly strike/shot rank 1, for colloseum league.

I intend to change it around a bit and by about level 80 i aim to have

:inv::can::gun:
:mnk::pro::ora:

Im in a mixed mind about proph vs princess (due to all my ranged)
and Arty vs Cannon i honestly dont know how they compare. I get paid end of the month so no "cash shop" mercs for now, but i do have 400-500m lying around that i dont mind spending ^^

Lastly, if anyone wants to provide me a rundown on sheriff vs carmilla for a spike vs stun build kinda comparison, id be hugely grateful.

cannoneer is better than arty in all stats, the only thing arty wins is deep insight serving as a free health check and def debuff.

carmilla (instrument) has better base dex, but sheriff is the one with the stronger weapon (gun). both can spike with a decent weapon

sheriff

- gun + stun pressure
- arrest is locks one merc down for 1 turn.
- revolver rush is aoe

Carmilla

- instrument, so hits 2 instead of 1.
- is a better sniper because you can aim at weaker ranged mercs (sheriff has to shoot in front)
- can HEAL.
- HP leeching passive skill.
- mde-reducing spell.

carmilla is more versatile although sheriff has better overall physical dmg.

- lastly, I pick princess because your ranged mercs will need passive heal more than u. ur POWERsaw. as a bonus, cannoneer + princess can do bombing campaign combo hehe
