The best way to powerlevel all characters is questlines. They seriously have such a high yield of exp as well as allowing you to kill mobs at the same time. To get your main level'd as fast as possible make sure your main always get the hit that kills. Same goes for any other mercs that you want to level quickly, try to let them get the killing blow.

As for leveling low level mercs, once again the best way is through quests. Mainly because the XP gains get cripple if the character is too low of a level. For instance if your level 11 BT gets a kill in on a lvl 100 mob instead of getting the 20k exp it would get capped at like 1.5k.

Also, try to keep a manager's scroll active while you're doing your quest lines. Sometimes they correlate with the mobs you have to kill and they give a wee bit of exp at the end as well.

Power leveling = power questing...quests will always be the best, and fastest way to earn exp. If you have a low lvl mercenary that can't survive, just leave them out for battles and only have them appear for quest rewards.

Quests in this game is basically the easiest way to lvl..
You rarely grind in this game until you hit lvl 90 or above.

Quest is about the only way to lv them fast, or if u have the money trade in xp book till u get adv. every 100 will = 100k xp so it is not too bad either

1. Town/Guild quests. They have a static XP reward at the end awarded to every merc without taking their level into account
2. Party. The static XP after each battle (10*level) adds up and if you have a "real party" (not a long distance one) you can make sure they get some XP while grinding without actually hitting something.
3. 10k XP books. Either exchange books at goncourt or win in FL.
4. Gifts. They're decent when you're afking and don't have any books left (It's capped at 100*main's level per gift)

If your merc is dying all the time while making quest, put him in merc room and take back when finishing quest :)

This isn't really worthwhile to level your main, or your mercs after they start being able to kill things off. One bonus mob kill usually gives the same points as a complete town quest. Now, you should do them for other reasons (enchant boxes, helping your guild) but they really don't help level much.

Assuming you discount the fact that the quests themselves typically involve grinding.

Well use your main to last hit the mobs, gives your main all the exp, also questing for the gold, if u are rich enough, create two accounts send money to the noobie account, and u get imba amounts of exp

Gifting items is completely random. Even if you Gift your other noobie account under the beginner list. Even if you select his name and gift him. The item gifted or money gifted will be given a another random lvl 30 of below beginner. Well so the best well to powerlevel is to time last hit using your main or the merc you want to level. Also another way is to go shadow dungeons with a party.

Yea, the quickest way is to either continue your questline or to redo one that could be reset, not...huike's letter. To keep mercs alive, you can bring them out and turn the quest in, and put them back in. The xp books you can use when the quests gives so much exp that you see your merc's xp bar is full, use it a bunch and you gain the levels instead of leaving it capped.

Witch is a good repeat quest to level new mercs since you farm giant crystals and powder of life along the way along with nice exp. Very lucrative- can sell marble or jewels!

Well, both witch and BT quests are good choices, either way.

I dont think anyone told him the power lv for main trick

its simple and there are 2 ways but they re the same only one cost real $

to power lv ur main or any other character all u do is the following , U need to aoe dmg all the enemy untill they are low then use an aoe with ur main to finish off all enemy's at once and hence hogging all exp ... this is done in 2 ways
'
the first one is using ur main only aoe skill .. preferable scud and even breakdown ... not so sure about chaos wind ^^
and they gotta be maxed ... u need a witch to meteor

as optional u can use BT - Arty aoe and so fort

u skip turn and only aoe attack untill u know u can kill with ur main aoe skill ... that basicaly how u can do it

whoever the more effective yet expensive way is judgement scroll

with this one u just need to cast judge and let ur main or anyone u wanna power lv or any other merc

This is the way I know on how to power lv main ... but i dont recommend it ... unless u wanna rush 2 -3 lvs for next quest line ^^
