Help with "My Allies Give Me Strength" quest

So sorry if this is the wrong place, I wasn't entirely sure where to post it. I tried signing up at the official forum to ask but it's been two days and I still haven't got my password <_>

Anyways... I can't finish this quest. I do what I'm supposed to do - look up Spearman under the Class tab in the book, but it won't recognize it or whatever. I don't know what the heck to do now... has anyone else run into this?

What quest line is this for? NPC names? Very hard to look up a quest with just a single quest's name :X

Sorry about that, I wasn't in the game and it takes a bit to load up, heh... it's The Yellow River quest, NPC who asked me to do it was Sul Hyang.

It's so frustrating cause it's one of those easy ones where you just have to open something up. I tried another character, on another server and started at another Forest Of Spirits, but the same thing happened.

Hrm... are you looking up the spear main or the spearman mercenary? If neither are working, then that sounds more like a technical bug issue... :X

Well see that's the thing - there is no mercenary, I can only find Main. I looked up a couple guides and they say to look up Spearman in Mercenary Info, but it comes up as Class for me. I'm guessing it's a different version or something, but the screencaps in said guides have such different information in them, it's totally confusing me.
