You just run atlantica from the other .exe file in the atlantica folder. The one it normally is AtlanticaRun, which goes through the autoupdate etc and prevents running two at a time. If you just use atlantica.exe it skips that and you can run multiples. You just have to make more than one account.
but careful
sometimes u cant even move ur char
i help my alts do hell spider but my alts can move
ofc my ram is 1 gig only

How does this work in-game? what cool things does this allow you to do/benefits does it bring?

This allows you to play two accounts at once. You can party with yourself for exp benefits/ kill faster if you can do all 10 merc commands in 30 seconds/ receive double event items during give-aways etc...
If you're running Vista, right-click Atlantica icon and choose "open file location," then double click Atlantica.exe
I find running windowed mode is easier with 2 clients running at once.

just given this a little go with 3 accounts... what id like to know is there a way to force the game into a lower resolution (maybe 400x600 or one of those ancient reso's), not that the pc can't handle higher, just to make the windows smaller, so they all fit neatly on one screen.
also i got a weird "cant load world error" when 2 followers entered a portal at the same time, perhaps its because they tried to access the file at the same time...

Is it actually viable??? You can't do more than 20 auto-battles as far as i know, so those supporting parties wont be really usefull for a long time....
Anyone care to enlighten me on how to proceed? Can you get more auto-battles? or replenish them in some way...?
Thx

Every battle you do without auto-battle adds five to your auto-battle count, up to 20. So every 20 fights, you do four battles manually. If you multi-client, make sure you do it staggered so you don't have auto-battle running out at the same time.
Or, alternatively, just alt-tab between the two accounts and don't use auto-battle at all. If it's for PVE, it's pretty easy to decide what to do. A little more computer-intensive, but not by much.
LOL thx sooo much for clearing up how to multi. Ive been wondering the same.

Is this still possible? I only have the following application files in the Atlantica folder:
AtlanticaPatcher_Clone
AtlanticaRun
LogState
uninst

Its still possible, I run patcher_clone and atlantica.exe simultaneously. Just take note, when the 2 chars load the same map (by teleporting to same town for example), there's a high tendency for 1 to glitch. The glitches I've had are purely graphical, and dun make u crash, lose money, or what not, but can be annoying in fights, pve and pvp.
to be on the safe side, run the 2 clients from different locations (1 in program files, 1 in my documents dun really count), from partitioning, or having one on computer, and the another in external hard drive. I've yet to glitch when I do this.
