When you get to lvl 44 ... as I'm only lvl 37 I don't know this answer yet, .. but .. Can you hire more than 1 Beast trainer?.. As i assume that that is a C class merc, or can you only have 1 at a time since they can become hero lvl at lvl 100?

You can have more than one, just not use them at the same time.
ex you can have a witch in your merc room and a witch in your party
but not two witches in your party
i hoped that helped =)

Very true.
Just to help you out as well, though this may be obvious.. at lvl 40 go buy/hire another merc anyways, Id get something with range attack to help with harpies..... it helps alot until you get BT

You can only have one of each C and higher class mercenary in your party at the same time. That doesn't stop you from having multiples of them in Merc. Rooms.

wow, thanx for the really good advice(hiring one at lvl 40.. i wasn't going to do that, but it probably will help) and the really fast help!.. I will definitly be going to this forum for more help in the future, .. as I only play AO a couple hours a day, I tend to have a whole bunch of questions.

quite simple, so they dont have to do quest
because they either
A) have tons of money and want the merc
B) sold it first time around and wanted it now

They either are too lazy to do the quest or...
Level up multiples to spec them differently for max pvp benefit.
You can, for example have 2 prophets, one with 60/60 Broken Spear to combat spear teams, and another with 60/60 Broken Sword to combat sword teams.
Same idea with princess versus cannon teams and gun teams.

Yea, I always buy marbles for mercs because you get more experience for that merc faster...
Let me explain, you buy the marble in advance then you open it right when you reach the desired level (let's say cannoneer), once you reach 87 you can put him in. Then you can do a whole bunch of quests with him in your party and/or do the cannoneer quest, by the time you finish it your cannoneer will be atleast 40+ and you'll have a marble to sell once you finish the cannoneer quest.
So it's like you get free exp on your C rank merc in a way.
(Hope I explained it well enough x_x)

Wow.. I am seeing great tips.. I think thats what i will do with my beast trainer, .. although i also hear that the quest should be done with 2 people, at least.. but that way it won't be so hard to level him, I also use my 100 exp books until they start to become useless in the leveling

And in most cases you can get better value if you choose something else from the box. I mean most people will choose 2 Meteor Adv. books instead of witch summon marble. At least that's what I did, since I got my witch summon marble cheaper then 1 million (on Mycenae around that was 2Adv. Meteor book price that time.)
