View Full Version : PK (player killing?)... how does it work

Sorry if this has been posted before.
Tried doing a search but couldn;t find anything relevant.
(search engine does not allow searching for "PK")

I am wondering about PK since I know next to nothing about it and the little I have found out about it is rather vague.
So how does this work?

What I can get from the game...
PK only avialable on players lvl 30 and over.
Not available in towns and colloseums.
Players that successfully PK you will appear in your blacklist and you will be enemies.
Linked to war
------

OK. I've never Pk'ed anyone and don;t think I have been PK'ed before, (nothing shows in my blacklist even though one time while in town, suddenly my charcter was in a battle but died instantly?!... not sure what happened)

I understand that you need to PK when your nations wars against another. What if your nation is not warring... can you PK random ppl?

What happens to you when you are Pk'ed?
Another thread suggests that one of your mercs will lose a random item of equip.

Once you ae PK'ed in a nation war, does that mean you are out of the war or can you continue to fight?

Does anything happen to
your stats
your inventory
your anything else?

Please discuss/correct if necessary

You just die like you do against mobs, but you can lose a piece of your stuff (i think you have less chance to lose when the opponent has a higher lvl)

and pk is available in town the last day of war

I'm curious to know that too. And are you sure you can get pk'd on the last day of war in a town? From what I heard, you can't PK in towns, the colosseum, or in the fishing town at all.

i think i saw an incident that one guy party with enemy nation and hunt for redemp during war time. and they ended up on opposite side, with the dungeon mobs helping him.

From what I know and understand:

PK (normal) is only available on the last day of war.
PK (normal) can be initiated by any members of a nation against an enemy nation.
PK (normal) can result in a 3 vs. 1.
PK (normal) is initiated by right-clicking on the opponent's avatar and selecting "PK"
PK (normal) has no restrictive PvP rules. Archers are not nerfed, flame sword isn't uber, etc.
PK (normal) cannot be initiated in safe areas - towns, colosseums, etc.
PK (normal) will cause the loser to drop one piece of equipment that he/she or a merc is wearing at the end of the battle.
PK (normal) will cause you to appear in the victim's blacklist. This means that the victim can take revenge against you anywhere.

PK (king's judgement) can be initiated only by the leader of a guild that is in a nation (forgot if it had to be the leader of the nation or not).
PK (king's judgement) can be used against anyone.
PK (king's judgement) can only be used at 125% will.
PK (king's judgement) will cause the loser to drop one piece of equipment that he/she or a merc is wearing at the end of the battle.
PK (king's judgement) will cause you to appear in the victim's blacklist. This means that the victim can take revenge against you anywhere.
PK (king's judgement) is often used to farm bots, since the revenge blacklist isn't usually worth it. Some GMs use it to farm their opponents before war begins, though.

I thought PK was available from Thursday 0:00 - Saturday 23:00 game time? I'm sorry but all this PK talking is just confusing me.

Frozen thats pre-war, the actual war starts on the last day. I think any guild leader that is lvl 100(125% will) can use kings judgement

Yeah, starts PKable then. Other people get red names.

There's the war EVENT thing on Saturday but really, the second it's open season on Thursday, that's when the fun starts.

Edit: I'm sorry, I mean that's when you happily ignore everyone in nation crying about no-pk agreements and go out hunting. Cuz I know at least 1-2 of you read these forums.

A lot of useful info... exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks

Just a quicxk noob question to make sure of something. I joined a guild this week and our nation is quite small (highest lvl guild in it is 60 something) What indications will there be that we are going to war with someone or if I log in after thursday will I get some notification that my nation is at war or will I not know until I see a player with a red name or get PKed?
