Spike Formation as a CannonM ?

is it posible? i cant think in any good formation wit pirate+spartan+ele+jani together becouse it allways lack in something, for example:


:spt::malehero::vik:
:pra::ele::jan:
:ora::mnk::exo:

If my primary atack force are melees, i should put a prophet in there, but there is no space, and of course, the cannonM just dont fit in there..

You could do one of a few things

1. put her in place of the oracle. You will then have pretty much all your mercs being passively healed. However. you will be weak to snipes.

2. Drop the viking, front the exo, and add the prophet. You can always switch the pirate with the exo if he gets weak (not the best tank, but itll do) the viking is not as necessisary because all of your dmg is physical, while ridge only decreases mdef

idk, thats all i can think of right now, but im sure tehre are other possibilities

Well yes, snipe formations are everywhere so i dont wana pvp wit no healer.
And why Range mercs allways go wit weak front lines? i never see something like:

Because the weak front lines usually have some sort of support. An exo in the front usually means that there were more important range mercs to be protected. Also, in a ranged stun build, a LK has absolutely no use (she tanks, and does nothing else that something else couldnt do).

Yes but it is posible to make an effective spike formation wit a strong fron line and a cannon main? the Lk is not that bad for spiking front liners, and i just hate to run on the back line wit my main and put the exo on front becouse he gets killed very fast. Im starting to miss my maniac on the internacional servers...

I'm not saying you couldn't. Theres no problem with making 3 swordies and 6 archers for a snype build. However, I'm saying its a waste of space and lack of utility. USually, the tank mercs are just that; they have no other use. Imo, there are many better mercs for spiking than a LK. But if you like to light slash people, then by all means go for it. In fact, allow me to suggest the most outlandishly awesome build (scarleteye's build, or at least i think it was this)

With this build (sword main), you are virtually invincible. 2 healers protects you from pretty much everything. Not only that, but if you use vortex+light slash and dark seed + hex of darkness on the enemy main, they DIE. like, thats it, you can end the match in 4 turns or so if they dont play smart.

So yea, this build is very very unorthodox, but it just goes to show. If you play smart, you can turn anything into a good build. If you want a spike build with a tank front line, go for it. I'm just saying that it would probably work better if you used a front line that allowed your formation to have more utility.

Anyway now on topic, your starter formation is basically good already.
It really doesnt need Proph, just makes it more vulnerable to snipe O.o

You just need to play it smart and make use of the Elem cause War Cry is your biggest fear =)

Although, Considering that just a few weeks earlier Shuhei was talking big about the future (like he always does) I think he's just on vacation/school/something.

And idk about scar's form, idr what it was exactly. All i know...is that i beat it! with underlvled mercs! go me! rawr!
