nDoors Apologizes

On their latest announcement they actually thought it was an inconvenience not to receive the item that was listed for every day.

So on top of our 8? Power potions. They say they will get us the items we rightfully should get.

Personally their mistake was beyond payment for the other items.

*shrug* everyone makes mistakes. If they are willing to replace the items with the correct ones (or better yet, just send the correct ones on top of the power potions), I don't see any reason to complain about such a minor trifle.

Still, I'd prefer the ornate maps to power potions =p. At my level, +50% EXP isn't all that much compared to the fun of treasure hunting.

Wow, good for them! Little bit of more detail - you no longer have to be on for an hour to get the items. They'll be mailed to every character at a certain time. So make sure your mailbox has room. And we'll be getting the items we're supposed to have gotten as well as what we did get. They're going above and beyond, in my opinion. :D

2 power potions are way better than anything else they offered .. i got 8 so far and i love it .. on the market they are 700k-1mil each .. that is a lot of cash i dont have to spend !

and besides .. lucky me .. tuesday i got a Thoroughbread + 2 pots .. yeah a horse .. and i sold it right away for 6 mil to some guy !

also i've heard ppl talking on that main chat that they've got even 4 pots in a day ..

I'm glad that they're giving us the stuff because most games they would have just said, "oops, too bad looks like you got screwed" and that really ticks off the players. I think that this was a sound call on their part just to keep us happy :D

this is one apology I will gladly accept. The scrolls and stuff are great but i will take the power potion anyday. It give way more benefit then anything else they got to offer. Hopefully they will make more mistakes :)

This is all a trick. What better advertisement then a free example to every single costumer?

I think it is a trick to get people addicted and want to buy more when they run out. I can see power potion sales increasing in 2 weeks, when the casual gamer runs out of there free power potions.

I currently have about 10, some i traded for earlier and those freebie ones. I'm addicted, flat out. I will never not use a power potion. I don't think ill pay real money for them, but I sure wll be someone buying from the market.

this marketing strategy is a very good one. that is why all MMO is adopting this strategy. only established companies will still maintain the monthly fees.

actually this kind of f2p with cash shop strategy can sometimes be more profitable than monthly p2p games.

it depends on the players, how determine are you not to spend a single dollar on it.

I discovered that Fancy Treasure Maps do not count towards the treasure hunter title.

/me sad.

Still, the items are nice even if most of them are rotting in my mailbox ATM. For some reason, I could never bear to use the items - not even 40 untradable ambrosias.

lol yeah .. i've never been able to use the Ambrosia and Heavenly feast .. i cant remember now which is which but i got in my inv 5x 5k and 74x 10k really old ones .. and some more are coming from the devs .. gotta log-in and empty the mailbox !

as for powerpots .. yeah i love them .. i've used some free ones at lvl 50 .. got me past Dracula and i'll probably use one now to get past Khufu and into Sunken Shrine .. but i realised my money drops arent enough to keep me addicted to PP .. so its pretty easy to give up on them .. i'm waiting to get to a high enough lvl where the money drops could actually pay for the PP in those 50 battles ..

I haven't stopped using power potions from lvl 36 to now 55. I don't see myself running out in the next 2 weeks either. I think I have like, 14 left. Roughly 1 a day, I don't use all of my stamina (How the rawr do you manage that? lol)

This is one of the best managing teams I've seen so far. They go above and beyond to make their customers happy. One of the few games that I wouldn't mind spending a few bucks here and there.
