I have registered to Atlantica few days back and I really enjoy it, so I'm looking for something serious build that I could use till my early 100's. My current formation looks following:
:spm::femalehero::spm:
:gun::vik::gun:
:sha::mnk:*something*
My goal is to be able to do some AoE damage while being able to resist some damage. I currently have Mana Shield and Evanescent Scud on my staff, while I'm looking for skills to put on my shaman/monk. This far I only got Awakening, Protect on monk and Blessing of Life on Shaman. Could formation like this have a potential and what skills should I put on monk and shaman?
Thank you.

Well, you dont really have any aoe, and you won't be resisting any dmg with that formation. If you want an aoe build, i can give you a decent one for lvl 60ish:
:vik::malehero::bst:
:gun::witc::art:
:sha::mnk::exo:
I took out the 2 spearmen because if you want aoe, lightning spear is not going to help you. Also, i swapped one gunner for an arty for extra stun pressure. With this build, you should try apply some stun pressure onthe monk from the gunner and arty. As soon as the monk makes an activation other than holy guard, mana seal, freeze axe, and blow all your aoes at once. That means scud, meteor, and summon. However, what will make you a pro pvper is being able to keep up your stun pressure while you are using aoes. This will force the enemy monk to use all of his activations on awaken, not being able to hg. If the monk is able to hg a row, you've basically either failed, or hurt him so much that normal attacks should be able to knock out some of his mercs.

I see. Could the arty also be swapped for Archer to achieve silence?
And about the shaman: As I mentioined I only have Blessing of Life this far. Would it be pointless to get Brutal Will on him because it would make me lose the control? Is there any other useful skills to add to the shaman on AoE party anyway?

sure you can put archer for silence, but it means you can't quite apply enough stun pressure to ensure people do not HG repeatedly and block 1/3 of your aoe dmg (since they awaken from stun).
the build is still viable with archer, but I personally prefer arty.
