Xrebirth

Well its a somewhat long story lol.

First I used x754 because my friend thought it up for me back in grade 6.
Then I decided to use Xreborn a few years back.
Then starting this year decided to use Xrebirth because it sounded better to me then the other 2.

Meh that's the short version of it lol :P

If you don't mind me being nosy but is there a significant meaning behind that X in Xrebirth? Or is it just because it sounds cool like that?

verastra
11-26-2008, 04:18 AM
well actually i have a few screen names myself

Verastra - Vera or Viera is a rabbit in final fantasy while Astra is my ragnarok nick.combine it both and you should get the name Verastra.

Pryde - This is from the Battletech series (if anybody reads em that is)

Vlad - Also from the Battletech series (Vladimir Ward Of Clan Wolf),yes im a trueborn.

Arthemiz - this is mainly used for FPS games (Artemis is a great greek god that fought in the Trojan War,well even tho she is a female, but with a twist of the lettering it became a male for me..hahaha)

LtKillroy
11-26-2008, 10:10 AM
This is my screen name, there are many like it but this one is mine.

Basically, Kilroy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilroy_was_here) is an old WWII joke that has survived. Origins are shakey, but I found it interesting. I changed it to Killroy because it was easier to remember (people always typed it in when I told them Kilroy, brain went straight to Kill instead of Kil) and I thought it made it cooler. Also made it more unique. Added the Lt (lieutenant) because it made it seem more military (I play a lot of FPS's) and always have kept it because it also made it more unique, and therefore not taken by people. Lt also rolls off the tongue easier than many things and is semi-high up on the ladder of promotions. Not to mention lieutenants actually tend to fight on the front lines more than many other higher-up officers. And Sgt is cliched.

(Unintended wall of text)

StarElf, variant StarElven

An elven race that lives and travels among the stars, mediating disputes among the various races of the universe, upholding the laws beholden upon all space-faring races. Typically dwelling on moons orbiting non-evolved worlds who have yet to enter the galactic community and observing said worlds. Typically light/pale skin and white/albino hair. The goddess of the StarElven race is Luminae who guides travellers among the stars and created the StarLords as her enforcers.

Samwise93- the least clever name. My name is Sam and I'm realitivly short and fat, so it matches up well. Also my year of birth is 93 so thats where that was thrown on. And it was started by one of my friends older brothers friends (if that makes any sense).

Marisa the Rainmaker
11-28-2008, 10:31 AM
Marisa is a myrmidon from Fire Emblem 8, and I picked that name out of random (I don't really like the character or anything). Strangely enough, my main is an archer instead of a sword despite the name, and I won't change it to sword until the mains could finally be better than the mercs.

If I can, though, I so wish I could remove "the Rainmaker" from my name. It sounds horrible =x.

KrimsonAce

KrimsonAce

~Bit of a long story, but here's the rundown.
I've always been a bit of a pyromaniac, loving the color of fire. One day while playing NFS:C, the last crew you had to fight was named Krimson, and I became obsessed with the name, it's relation to cars (my hobby) and to the color crimson, which is similar to fire. Ace relates to a military jet fighter who has shot down more than (I forgot the number :D) number of enemy planes in combat, and I loved both jets and the view of a jet flame. Combining my love of fire, planes, and cars, gave me the name of KrimsonAce. Ta-da! :D

You know this bird? Chiffchaff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiffchaff)... uhm. Yes. I love it so much <3

But since I am in germany, since I behave like a german and since I would call myself one, what about its german name?

Here thou go! (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zilpzalp)

wraith75
05-04-2009, 04:21 AM
wraith75 : from Wraith, an obscure Marvel Comics character, former friend of Wolverine, and 75 for my birthyear (ok, I'm not that young anymore :))

When I was younger, I always used "Wolf" as nick, but then I settled on "Wraith"

AlannaSaeli (IGN) : in all the RPGs I played, I named (when possible) my character Alanna Silverstar.
When I played the World of Warcraft trial version (never played past those 7 days, don't wanna pay and Atlantica's so much better imo), "Alanna Silverstar" didn't fit in the name box so I had to make it shorter and Saeli was the first thing that came to my mind and sounded fantasy-like enough.

raznik
05-04-2009, 07:51 AM
Raznik - random name of one of my characters back when I was still playing pRO (Philippine Ragnarok Online)... just a random name from my head.. got too lazy to think of another name so i named my character as such and also my account here and in the AO main forums :)

as simple as that...

Trucido

macsu
08-21-2009, 06:17 AM
Hi all, my user name is Macsu that comes from 5th grade when we were bored in school and started to play card games. I taught ppl the game Machu - Pichu and the name kinda stuck on me. Then it became Machu only since it is smaller. Take this and the fact that I'm hungarian and you get the hungarian spelling Macsu :)

this is not my IGN however, IGN is usualy Enkyl ... this comes from Anne Rice's vampire chronicles where the elder vampire was named Enkil. I liked the spelling better with "y" + usualy enkil is already taken IG. :)

If I create more chars or so I try to use the rest of the vampire names, except Lestat which seems to "comercialized" :)
