I have been playing AO since about 3 weeks before close of CB3. I stumbled upon this from one of the MMO sites that email me beta keys. Decided to download and give it a look and I was hooked. I have been playing SRO for about 3 years with a good group of guildmates (most together for those years) but I was growing bored with the limitations and the goldfarmers and botters so man was I pleasantly surprised with Atlantica.
I am an old timer both in age and in gaming going way back and enjoying every step of the way. I played a bunch of console through the years and mainly FPS but never wanted to get hooked on MMORPG because I knew that is exactly what would happen. I am glad I took the plunge. I have two kids old enough to game and most times want to take the mouse away from me in AO but they have their PC and I have mine. I work long 10 hour days so when I come home and have had a nice dinner, kids are in bed, wife is watching some reality show, I have a nice relaxing evening of gaming. I am not one for drama and I hate cheating (botters in every form). I am always willing to help out newbies and most times one of the most easy going in chat and vent. That is about it.
