DMF Cannons

So I've recently made a cannon and looking towards using a DMF formation.
I've looked through a few threads, and tried to make an understanding of its uses, but am still a bit confused.

So heres what the formation I'm pondering on atm:

:spt::vik::exo:
:jan::ora::malehero: (Note: Viking = Northern Viking)
:mnk::pro::mnk:

I haven't played this game for a while, so I'm not very certain of this formation.

Open to any suggestions, thanks.

P.S. I want a build thats efficient for both PVP/PVE if thats possible.

1. positioning...most DMFs dun put monk like that.

merc1-merc2-merc3
merc4-merc5-monk
merc6-monk-merc7

DMF ain't efficient for pve unless u nid two HGs in boss fights. even then, empress does it better cuze she has a better atk so she has an extra use besides HG in boss fight. main is pretty much always the last to die unless ur gear sucks so u dun really nid 2 monks for passives either in pve.
