View Full Version : Is gunner team only good as a stun team?

Hi everyone. I run a gunner main and just curious is that the only formation choice to gunner go with a stunner build. Is there any other way of playing them or any interesting or fun build that you can think of?
I dont want to be like every other gunner going for a cookie cutter build. If there is none I think i will just have to reroll or hope for a vial to change my class to something else. Thx for your replies in adv.

Well, i've seen someone with 5 gunners who'd skip the first few turns to get AP
then use wildshot for 2 turns in a row? for the mercs
mainly aiming for the main character of the opponent.

I can imagine a 3 gunner team be good at focus-damaging a column for a couple turns. They may also be useful for "forced-switching".

Get Chaoswind, Artilleryman with Deep Insight and Cannoneer with Smoke Bomb.
=> annoying DOT combo + stun
Also Jannisary with Shooting stance is supposed to be quite powerful.

if u get stun team, dun leave out a shaman/oracle and princess...
brutal/seth w/ a row of cannons/guns.... stunned like hell...and pretty good dmg
for PvE...full gun? u'll die fast...cannons front? ugh...maybe... but still get pwnt...
or ur talking abt typical w/ the sword or lk/spartan @ front, then that's fine, that combo is decent @ pve as well

Gunner main. Move the Cannoneer with the Gunner if you'd rather have Chaos Wind over Smoke Bomb active most of the time. Seth's Will the middle line. Laugh at the obnoxiously high amount of damage you put out at levels 90+ with respectable equipment.

No need for the 3rd gunner in the mid. Imo you should take the gunner out and get either a witch or a viking to counter will builds that you can't "scroll over" :P

I think all ranged character usually go for the weakest char. or the main char. in PVP.

Thanks everyone for all the input. Maybe i will just go with the usual seth/will build when i can get cannoneer and janissary and see how well it work.

Minor detail :P. I still feel 3 gunners and a cannon are a little too much so i'd loose the inv or the jenissary (depending on taste) for an exo.
