I just got my first Amon item and I notice it has Durability. So I have some questions concerning durability:

1. I assume that using the item causes its durability to go down, and you repair it with a repair stone. Does repairing reduce the max durability?
2. If so can the max durability be restored?
3. Can the durability be removed entirely?
4. Do pvp battles consume durability?

4. hard to say ..u have to fight many times to see if thats going down (
for me i lost only 5 durability in my +6 weapon and i have it around 1 week and play a lot this time) so thats going down really slow

Yes - specifically, it goes down by 5. So always wait as long as possible to repair something.

2. If so can the max durability be restored?
As twixter said, by enchanting/enhancing to the next grade.

3. Can the durability be removed entirely?
Yes, +10 gear does not have durability.

4. Do pvp battles consume durability?
I believe so, but it's very slow to happen.

Some things you didn't ask but might be useful to know - repair accessories with armor repair stones, and always check the items you buy in the market for their durability if they're +6 or higher or they're level 70 or higher (it will say, when you click on them, up in the box at the top what their durability is).

Huh. I just assumed you couldn't sell something on the market if it didn't have 100/100 durability since none of the items I looked at had anything but 100, and their prices were more than 10 times above the next lower tier of items. I figured the prices were higher because only full dura items could be sold.

You can sell items for non-max durability. I've seen tons of items at +6 or +5 with lower than max durability values.

If the item is +7 or more though, though, it's impossible for it to have anything other than max durability. Since the only way to get those items to lose durability is to use them and the only way to use a +7 or above item is to unseal it (thus preventing selling), they can't have anything other than 100.

hehe this thread started my headache as I am lvl 65 and only take my gewar to lvl 4 so I don't have to deal with durability but as I read any gear over lvl 70 has it so baa hehe oh well guess I will swap gear out at the lvls and not rais it till I hit 100 and then only max out the lvl 100 gear ( enchant enhance ) yes I know this will be expensie and a large waste of time course by the time I do it lvl 120 will be out and new gear .... oh well no where near 100 yet so nothing to worry about ( and my witch still has her +4 spirit gear on at lvl 54, yes I am a cheap bastard :p )

what do u mean by this ? .. if my sword is 90/100 dura now .. i should wait until like 10-20/100 before i repair it ? .. and then it would be 95/95 ??

you should theoretically be way past the level of the weapon before u have to repair it :).

At least, I dunno about 90+... o.o

You can still use it with 0 durability, just that all the stats are removed.
