How many guild points does it usually take to take over a town 10k? being a mid level town not the best but not the worst

Depends on the server probably. Look around at how many guild points the controlling guilds have. I think on Sikyon you'd need 40-45k to take one.

yeah on Macedon it most guilds have 10-25k but i figured it would be universal since you only get them by doing guild stuff minus buying the books.

I've seen towns taken for as little as 5k and as much as 50k near questlines. Those are highest in demand since they get the most traffic and generate more revenue. (Thebes)
