Okay so i currently have:
:exo::bst::vik:
:art::can::inv:
:ora::mnk::malehero:
I was given this formation by another player:
:exo::spt::vik:
:art::can::ele:
:ora::mnk::malehero:
and this:
:exo::vik::malehero:
:art::can::mnk:
:ora::mnk::ele:
I was wondering which of those two would be best? Or is there a way better one that you guys could tell me? Would greatly appreciate your opinions!

but, if i' Be you, I'd switch position betweem Elementalist and main, so it become:

:can::art::malehero:

If that fella was on macedon, I'd kill him once I get his name...seriously >.<
reasons why 1st build given by that player fails:
- princess signet screws your stun potential. and as a "bonus" against you, cannon signet doesn't even have to be maxed to drop dmg to 1-1 (which is essentially zero actually, but the silly stat screen couldn't display "0").
- scrolling witch says "hi"
- warcry+smoke bomb on all ur mercs with stun potential = i dun even nid to scroll on a witch and still have the scroll succeed. (I see that tyrael has made this same mistake in this thread, and another one. I mean mistake in positioning, warcry is why a good number of players have inventor back row, cannoneer midline, on opposite sides of formation. It really can turn the game around at times).
- you lack a decent back-up tank for both formations. This is theoretically NOT a fail if you are a very good player with good merc management (there's a japanese AO titan winner with JUST ONE melee, the exo, he's so pro dude) and juggling capabilities, and it can be done, but generally not a good idea with the average player.
- awful damage capabilities.
2nd build fails less only cuze of DMF. at least you can get rid of signet and warcry and watever debuffs. but the other problems listed still persist in the DMF version of the build.
anyway, build-wise, I'm just gonna give you the cookie-cuts

*oracle can be removed for any of the mercs listed below, with the exception of minstrel (who nids her puri skill when you have DMF, if you nid puri while DMF, you suck). but oracle is preferred.

:can::ora:(choose from#)
:exo::mnk::inv:
#minstrel. if you pick her, have her switch with inventor, and ur main switch with spartan, all in terms of positioning. and melody of madness+hallu is very cool towards the end of a pvp match. you make ppl go mad if used right
#prophet. concentrate for ur melees. nuff said
#Dark archer. silence remains a pretty good pvp skill.
#elem! but of course.
#pirate. now you have stun+spike. if you pick pirate, main and spartan change positions. ppl can only warcry one strong attacker+1 range (so its between warcry on spartan+cannon OR pirate+inventor).
# witch...if you like...flying (maybe mana drain too)! otherwise, elem is a better choice.

Yeah Lock, maybe you're right.. my highest character is only 74 atm, so I'm not really used to Warcry..anyway, I'll post my current formation to the OP ..it is:
