Well, i made a chart with equipment stats.
Actually i created this chart for myself, but i guess its time to share it :P

Heres a screen:

Is there any way to create an online chart?
If so, id copy the whole chart, so all of you could access and edit it.

Otherwise id just provide the .ods file.

It could be better if you added the durability and the dragon heart to the left side, or change the middle so its +#

I can get the complete upgrade stats of any item, was actually planning on making a large chart for it but takes so much time.

Maybe something I'll work on slowly. Props to poster for using OpenOffice :P

In my chart you only have to alter the first line (base stats) and names, everthing else will adjust itself.

And there is the name 'Dragon Heart xxx', just not on screen.

O snaps, OpenOffice, high five*!
Very nice...and colorful...Is it really true that there's no magic def/evasion changes? And is the whole thing based on past observations on lower level equips, as far as Thebes go, never seen +5-10 dragons.

ugh, this only has dragon? :( lol im nowhere close to it, btw can u even put a crafting price? b/c crafting prices change so much :S b4 it cost me like 300k per batch of 15 walachia heavies now its costing like 500-600k

also there's the possibility of upgrading skipping+ and crafting like +5 or +6 >< how'd u take tohse factors in account while calculating?

I've used lots of items for reference, so everything should be accurate.
And yeah... no change in MDEF/Evasion.

Google docs will allow you to upload most types of documents to their site from which everyone can then view them. You can even change your spreadsheet later on and it will be updated immediately for anyone that views it. You can even allow other people to make changes to it (not that great of an idea>_<)

Thanks, that's pretty helpful. I didn't know those values for the % increase in stats. Looks like those apply to the stat bonuses too.

Online version: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=p9ZWgPYoZaDIXVo43RGuPeQ&gid=1

Might make it public, so everyone can edit and extend it.
Also i need to overhaul the chart.. since googledocs broke it -.-

sorry if i missed it, but is it always better to push for +5 then for that extra bonus stats compared to +3 to +4?

For the extra bonus? Maybe
but bear in mind that "durability" comes into play on +5 items

Also some ppl have said that items are restricted to +4 on pvp.

Apparently from what I've seen people test, items aren't restricted to +4 in PvP. It's just that the stat upgrade from enchanting in general is decreased (as early as +1).

Thank you for the chart :)

thanks for the chart, never knew it goes up on a % base. Guess now i see y the jump at +6 and on ward is such a huge difference. Now when AO is on their maintaince i can play around and see what all those +10 values would look like and start drooling.

Hey Innos I'm gonna put it on the wiki alright?

That would allow edits as well as accessibility.

Hey Innos.

Nice work.
The crafting price you mention. I take it is based on the fixed prices for the mats?

Zpirit,
is the wiki live yet?
Every page I've tried asks me to create one.
I don't feel I'm qualified to have the privilege of creating the pages. :vik:

Interesting.
So it that's the case then it generally is better to have higher lvl equipment even if they are not upgraded highly or at all??!

Wish we had more info on this.

Not entirely true. A +j+1 of a certain of equipment is always about the same (or roughly better/worse) than a +j of a lower level equipment. Thus, a +j+2 of a one lower-level equip is always better than the +j of the higher-level 1 (excepting evasion rates for armor).

you mean to say a +j+1 weapon is roughly same as +j weapon the next lvl up?
;P

Still my point was in relation to FL.
It seems to be better to have higher lvl equipment even if not enchanted as high/ since that gets removed in pvp

HardcoreGamer

Roughly there... but usually +1 of the previous grade is slightly better than the +o of the next grade.

MrSharp
11-30-2008, 12:22 PM
But in FL (or all pvp?)...

+3 of previous grade is inferior to +0 of next grade

Marisa the Rainmaker
11-30-2008, 01:28 PM
Yeah. The "lower level" was just a typo.

However, the common concensus is that the limit to enchantment levels in PvP is +4 (I think there was an announcement about it some time ago, though I forgot where it is). It's not easy to prove and hasn't yet been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, but if that is true, then +3 of a previous grade is better than +0 of the next grade even in the free leagues.

Read lot of thread dedicated to FL equipment enchantments being limited

Makes very interesting reading especially starting with screenshots on page 4...
http://www.myatlanticaonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63&page=4

Basically all equipment enchantment in FL is nerfed. Not a specific limit like +4

good work man, took me a while to figure out every +1 increase by def by 20%. xD

Meh... A tip about upgrade? Upgrade lvl 25, lvl 60 and so on equips only. I do say keep changing and upgrade weapons on the go when you see fit. Why? Because it is more cost effective. LVL 25 uses beginner stones and LVL 35 uses intermediate stone. So more cost effective.

That's actually a good point... Me... I'm just using level 35 stuff at 80 lol.
