it totally annoys me when i see people with :gun::gun::gun:
or :art::art::art:
the stun is totally annoying especialy when my monk gets stunned...
is there a way to avoid / reduce stun amount or stun chance? =/
like any strategy other than awakening or 2 monks llz

Other than awakening spam with 1 monk, or 2 monks, or trying to use awakening scrolls, there isn't that much of an option.
Or, break the weakest frontline, freeze axe the midline.
wats ur formation? i did beat such a build before...but i did this then for midline

a good way to counter ranged-stun formations is to use smoke bomb and reduce their accuracy

You can try to equip monk with nullified rings.

You gotta make sure your damage dealers don't get stunned and punch a hole in their to their squishies. Once you do that you can kill some of them or make them play a little more defensively, removing some stun pressure from you.

I have not used this but there is a thing that can be crafted under medicine called stimulant and it is a single target awakening .. would think it can be used on your monk to then awaken the rest ... just a thought :)

well, its not like i CANT beat them,
just that its very annoying and i hate it when sometimes a full stunned team just screws me over
other than that its alright, its not necc that form just a mix /combo of those

how can your full party get stunned? Always have an eye on the Combo pts on your monk - he mustnt get stunned! never! ;)
And then you can cast awakening on the others.
And hell no... dont use those awakening scrolls - why the heck are they even in this game? scroll shit... :/ - just costs even more money... and everybody uses it soon, so you'll have to buy them too - so dumb :(

You use awaken to prevent stun, not recover from stun. With 2 monks, you will probably get at least 1 person left stunned if the opponent concentrates on distributing the combo. With 1 monk, you get at least 4 people stunned. So only way is to punch through the frontline, and use a freezing axe. So burn them mercs to the ground and ice em!

This kind of reminds me of a guy in Thebes named Salem, he has five gunners... getting stunned was a pain

I love the folks with no monks. I have their entire team stunned by my 4th turn, so much fun. Then its just easy pickens as I keep up the combos.

Stun combos are great against teams without a counter, sure.

Against team with exo, canoneer and scroll (one of them but if the opponent have all of this) the stun team is inexistant

I understand using expensive scrolls of purification would do the trick but how would exo and canoneer help?

At lower levels I can see why you are having troubles with 1 monk, but at higher levels it's easy to beat that type of combo.
Exo + 1 monk can easily give you enough for 2 awakens by round 2 on.

Reminds me of a guy in Sikyon back when i was in Div 18, he had 4 gunners and himself (axe). No one could beat him. But as soon as he hit Div 16 he got rocked.

just make sure to awaken when ur monk's combo counter is on 2 =/ then ur fine

Also remember to upgrade your monk at lvl 50. Gets a cross shaped awekening.
Perfect counter to a cannon hit ;)

i remeber seeing a guy with all gunner build, 7 gunner and 1 monk, 1 oracle aginast the gm it was soo funny, and in the end we all know who won xD.

sometimes its good to just save ur ap for ur monk, so when u have 2 sides that are at combo 2, u can quickly remove both sides.
Yes, that means ull forfeit an attack to save the monk's ap. up to u :)

i have seen stun teams take 2nd place and 1st place in the WK.. i trul;y believe it is not the formation but the player. give a good player a crappy formation he'll/she'll make the best of it. give a crappy player a great formation and if he's lucky he might win but more then likely lose

i agree with you. it's the player who really makes the difference.
you also should not have too many stunners in your team. 2 to 3 stunners should be enough, i think. having like 4 or more gunners (lol) is just overkill. Having 2 monks is kinda overkill as well. exo+monk combo is way better.
Q: what about inventor though? isnt his stun kinda hard to counter? he can summon a catapult which shoots every turn and has the AoE of a cannon :confused:

It's a good build, and isn't it good to see builds other than 6 melees 2 staffs and a prophet?

Nooo...dun teach them why the suggestion of awakening at combo 2 is bad, I still want to be able to stun people, pls?

well puri scroll is the only counter, but really, is it so bad to have your front line frozen for a couple turns? I'd much prefer having my back row HGed than my front row, Guard Dispel notwithstanding. My 3 front rowers spend a lot of the early rounds encased in ice, but I can easily outheal damage done to them, and move them to the mid row if not. And while they might be frozen, they're still gaining AP.
