Anyone have any good leveling Tips on lvling your group as a whole or individual mercs. Like whats the best quest to repeat?

Like whats the best quest to repeat?

Depends on your level. In general, it's best to do a shorter quest than a longer one - i.e., don't do the exorcist/oracle quest for xp - because the end xp is usually better than the xp you gain along the way. I like the prophet quest, because I can also get phoenix jewels from the box, it gives a decent amount of xp, it's not *too* long, and you make a lot of money along the way, and I understand the inventor quest gives really nice xp too (not high enough yet for it). Don't bother doing the main-only weapon quests for xp - they don't give very much.

I found to get my new mercs caught up fast is to tryy and hold out with them to get the kill shot on the easy mobs ( stay out of shadow dungeons ) and mercs with aoe dots and dd's lvl up the fastest ( my 2cents ) this way specialy my witch I just get all the mobs down to near death then hit them all with meteor and she gets like 16k exp but remember do this on the easier mobs and go back a few dungeons ( killing the older mobs help with your info book :P )

Fastest way is just doing quests, if u want to lvl your new merc then use some exp books, let him finish the mobs and if your guild have town do some town quests.

exp books to 20 usually, then just let them sit in merc room until u need to turn in a quest :) that way they are safe from being killed and can still get quest exp

Like someone said, town quests are good, also merc quests if you can. Check the quests list and do any you haven't yet.

you could try gifting. find cheap items for sale that have a HIGH rate value. On Macedon Walachia bow/rifle/axe etc sell for 2-3k but have a value of 25-35k you get 20% of the value but it is capped at 10%xLevel so at level 50 you would get 5000xp for 3k every 100will.

Oh, and if it's your mercs you need to catch up, just use your normal ones for battle and switch in the new guys while turning in quests.

personally i like to try and keep my main getting most of the exp, because my mercs always seem to catch up pretty well from the quest exp

Doing quests and killing stuff in a group( not a long distance party but killing the same mob you and another person) seems to work well to lvl mercs.

50% bonus exp with 2 people, 100% with 3 :)

Follow quests is number 1 way.

Power potions on 3 people in a party is insane. That and you get stamina back if close party.

i also let my new merc just absorb the exp from quest.

btw, power potion on 3 people yield a lesser than 50% bonus exp per person isnt it?

just do quests and put the merc you want to lvl in your party when you give back quests
i lvl all the C-mercs i get that way and it works fine

well another good way to lvl fast is find a Long Distance Party while your question or simply killing monsters it always works fine :) and helps a lot at low lvls it would be better if someone thats highter lvl than you is in the party that way you can gain more exp
