I just vialed to Music Main because I just love how it looks.

Currently my PvE formation is this
:spt::vik::pra:
:art::pro::jan:
:malehero::mnk::ora:

My PvP formation on the other hand is a wreck, but here is the trainwreck.
:malehero::spt::vik:
:pra::jan::inv:
:exo::mnk::ora:

Things that I think are wrong with my PvP formation

1)Pirate: I haven't seen any PvP builds as a music main with a pirate. Maybe it shouldn't be there.

2)No cannon? If i were to take out the pirate, I would put the cannon there.

For PvP your mercs aren't bad. Just rearrange your formation so you don't get owned by warcry

Pirate isn't a bad thing, its just that most musicM probably don't make a spike build, which is where pirates do the best. If you make an Stun/AoE + Spike team then I'd recommend dropping your jani rather than pirate

You could try dropping your jani for a cannoneer for more AoE/stun pressure

Or try dropping him for a prophet to keep your front line mercs up and boost their attack for extra spike power =P


On the other hand if you do drop your pirate, you'll become more AoE + Stun (without the spike) nothing wrong with that idea either, plus it'll be a lot cheaper. Both ways will work fine

The Inventor and Jani should switch places, because Jani is going to be doing a nice part of your damage in that formation, which you do not want under War Cry.

Also I would suggest putting in a second monk or a Cannoneer in place of that Pirate, as that Pirate will rarely be used in your matches, because your formation is so heavily stun that the spiking part of it just won't be done.
