Need help fine-tunning my team

My current build. I'm aiming to have a hard hitting team that can also do DoT but I'm not sure what are the best mercs and skills for the job. Plus, formation wise. I have a Spearman and Gunner in storage.

I want a build that I can do PvE easily with (since that's what I do mainly) and also PvP every now and again and do well. Not looking to be a PvP god or anything. lol

Current level is 68, sword main. Also, should I stay a sword main for the build idea I have in mind? Or change to something else?

Exo in front is a bad idea, because he's not the best tank and you need his abilities to be available, so you don't want him getting frozen or silenced.

I've tried monk and main in the same row like you are, if you get stunned it sucks, so you might wanna think about that.

Everything else looks ok, gunner hits harder than Artie I think in exchange for hitting 2 less people, plus gunner can hit witches.

I don't think doing DoT with a swordM will be very effective, simply because pretty much any rangeM (besides bow) will probably be better.

If you stick with your "hard hitting" idea, you can make a snipe/spike team

Basically what I did
1) I dropped your witch for a prophet. Witch is nice to have, but for your team, I think a prophet would benefit you more because A) She heals & boosts your attack and B) Thats 1 more bow for sniping. =P

2) I moved your exo to the back. Exo > Viking in terms of necessity, so you cant have him going down first =(

3) I dropped your arty for a pirate. Cannons aren't too powerful ya know--they're mostly used for Stunning. Instead I put in a pirate cause she has tons of damage.
*Now if you want to stick with your DoT idea, then drop your archer and pirate for an inventor and cannoneer. Then you'll become more stun+spike rather than snipe+spike. This would be your DoT formation.

edit: forgot that you wanted PvE
In that case, drop the archer and pirate and spartan, put in a BT and 2 Janis =P (my suggested formation above is for pvp xD)

No don't drop the Spartan for BT if your in PvE, Spartans more useful in both pvp and pve, cuz warcry reduces the amount of combos mobs will pull off and his raw dmg is better then the BT's

well i would just stick with a BT cause i dont have the money :(
and cause BT hits in rows, my janis would have column attack down, so my BT would help me get rows.
but yes i see how spartan could be/is better than BT in pve. :)

Any other ideas? I want to try and get as much feedback as possible. :O

Oh, and small update I switch Exo and Vik because Exo kept dying. >< Buy Vik isn't all that great of a tank either...sigh.
