Vial to SpearM?

Thinking about vialing my cannonM to a spearM... and making a Control Formation. Would this be a good idea? I've noticed that a lot of the recent titan winners are all ranged class (not to mention DMF, but that's a whole 'nother story). Are melees just out of style or is their an advantage to having a ranged main over a melee main?

And if you could help my formation too that'd be nice ;)

Stun + AP Drain + War Cry + Freezing Atmosphere + Seal Staff. if you can't tell from those things, basically i try to screw over my opponent. or just think of it as an AP Drain + stun build xP

Lightning spear to AP drain important/bad ap regen units (cough viking cough)
Spartan to warcry important ranged units
Ele to seal melee skills
Cannon + Inventor for stun pressure
Monk + Exo + Shaman are self explanatory

I'd vial from cannonmain to spear because a spear main would be a better tank than a regular spearman would be, plus it has guard dispel. Would it work? And is vialing a good idea?

concentrate on 1 style, cuz remember every turn, your gunna use 1 activation healing and 1 awakening most likely, i assume you mean mana seal not staff seal for your exo, cuz staff seal is useless...just lowers a staff users normal attack -.-
