Basically i started 4 days ago, Im level 39 at the moment on Argos, But ive learnt ALOT over the last 3 days, And ive pretty much screwed up most of my mercs skills and the actual formation isnt all that great.

Spear/Sword/Spear
Empty/Cannon(main)/Empty
Sham/Monk/Archer

But on my main i level up smoke and insight so there both 20, And on my monk i leveled up Protect to lvl 26, And the rest are low lvl Holy guard/Awake, And as for my sham i maxed out brutal will to 26 and then lvled my heal, But im not even a brutal will biuld as i wont have a gunner, Or can i afford to loose control of a whole line.

What do you guys think? Does your monk/sham get replaced later on in game?

And what about my front line?

I will restart if i have to, It shouldnt take me long to get level 40 next week.

Thanks Luda

monk will probably stick with ya till end game... shaman if u dont like noble sacrifice you can switch her out with oracle.

You might have some trouble later with a 2 spear front line, my friend runs that now and hes constantly complaining on how fast his front line dies, its still early that u can quickly replace/pick up another tankish char though.

I think you're fine. You'll replace the shaman with oracle, and end up with other melee mercs eventually (such as lady knight). No need to restart unless you don't like your main.

you dont have to start new char just recruit new merc who in u opinion have bad skills , only if u main is bad then go that way:)

Your build is fine since most chars gets ditched for other mercs as the game progresses, begins by lv50 onward, you start ditching chars for better ones. one spear->LK is the norm. shaman-> oracle gives you a second chance to skilling them right. If you want to take advantage of your already good brutal will level
[sword][insert 2 more tankers]
[spear][cannon][spear]
[magic line you already have]
The archer may be moved to mid and since you're near 40 you can hire a merc to serve frontline ending in somethign like

:spm::swm::swm:
:spm::malehero::arc:
:sha::mnk:[empty]

working towards

:swm::lak::bst:
:spm::malehero::spm:
:ora::mnk::pro:

That's just a rough sketch, you can choose w/e you'd like

Spears are fine for frontline, I ran 2 Spears and BT front line until 92. Just recent switched for a new PvP formation otherwise I would still be using them.

Ugh, the thought of restarting makes me cringe. Even though 39 isn't that bad I'd continue to play. You probably will change your taste in formations as game progresses. Use the merc room and make new mercs if you want to. ^_^

As you level up and get to higher level monsters your low level mercs catch up faster. Heck, my witch already has more exp than my main. You'd be better off just recruiting some new mercs than restarting.

zspirit, did u have especially good gears or sumthing? right now i got 2 spear mains and they're gettin raped :S im using +4-+6 walachias =| no1 selling anu/amon on argos T_T i use bt/main/spear/spear/exo to tank and keep switching em to heal and still get raped
ill b putting lk and spartan later but thats so long from now -.- only 72 :S

o btw, abt that build suggested b4, i dun see a point of having a cannon main if ur not gonna build towards it, basically a stun team

Cannon mains are actually pretty decent, I'd say they're contenders with axe mains for the best main. Just keep on chugging, you'll figure out a decent build.
