Wow, can you actually lose from receiving any of those items?

You actually gain more items per gold when buying the treasure box of good fortune as compared to buying the actual items. (provided all the items are tradable in game)

The only problem would be, if you (or anyone) would have any use for the item you roll from the box.

Also, this is the only item in the item mall that gives crystals and jewels.

Yea, EVERYTHING in that list is worth a minimum of 1.5k gcoins or so (with some being worth about 2k gcoins). So you pretty much "win" no matter what you get, technically. It's just that you can't actually choose what you get. For example, you might keep on getting blessing of life and ressurection scrolls. While nice, I mean, I'm sure the entire server only needs so many blessings of life and ressurection scrolls. Those things are wonderful in emergencies, but come on, the player base isn't THAT incompetent :P

Only bad thing (or good depending on situation) is that you'll see a price drop for most of the items up there.
Especially after the update comes out.

Just a suggestion we should have a tread where ppl post what they got from those chests and we can somewhat guess a percentage of how often u can get a certain item. I'm gussing heaven horse 3%-6%, ,vial 5-10% useless stuff 80% lol.

Hey Z maybe you can use that budget and open all you can and then announce a new prize give away after you get the horse.

I love how they name it Greater fortune. Guess that .000001 % of good fortune was not enough they must have double on even better they ten fold the chance just so we can get that horse. so now let the game begin and see who is the person with the greater fortune as there was no winner on the good fortune box.

The large majority of F2P MMOs that I've played sell things in the cash shop that give stats and are in equipment slots that are unobtainable for people who don't pay money (mounts in Atlantica Online, temp wings in Sword of the New World, Cash Shop equipment in general in Lunia, etc etc)

I'm quite sure they will sell mounts flat out later on mate. People will always want them, and those who have mounts will always want a better one. It's only logical for nDoors to sell exactly that.

I dont think they will ever sell Mounts with stats. They will ever be in an Box that you have to buy, and there is a small chance to get the mount - way more profit for ndoors couse many got to much money and buy them until they get the mount. :)

Ndoor is smart with their marketing ploy. A chance to get something rare always tempt ppl to try and get the item as everyone want to be unique. It wont be too special if everyone in teh server has the horse.

also we shoudl be happy they dont flat out sell the ride item with stat boost or else all the non paying players would be scream and spam the forum saying that game is cater to paying customer and there is no way to compete and the so so blah blah blah stuff that i am sure you all know.

Thats one of the reasons why i play this game though, the stuff you can get on Item Mall doesnt give that much of an edge to a player to not make it competitive for those who choose not to pay for stuff in the Item Mall, sure you can level much faster with those items etc and farm quicker for the items but overall anyone wil get the levels and everyone will get the items if they spend the time for it, it basicly becomes a mattar of time, you wan't it faster spend some money, you don't mind taking it slower then thats fine youll get there eventually. It works well for both sides, the paying ones and the non paying ones, plus it allows paying ones to make some nice ingame money by selling items like Power Pots etc.

alot of FTP games are like this force u to spend tons of money and making u to try to get some ultra rare item.
