well, im posting this thread hoping to get some descriptive feedback from so many pro's in this site lol (e.g the regular posters ^^).. i just need some tips as to how to play properly cause this game closely resemble Logic, and practice makes improvement... but as im still kinda noob at lvl 70.. i just want to get more info on pvp.. i have a rather decent build at the moment
(musician main)
:bst::swm::exo:
:malehero::vik::art:
:mnk::arc::sha:
cause my lvl is not high enough to get a inventor, cannon and spart, but will be doing so later.. as im only lvl 70's.
I have a bit of a stun pressure for the build, but opponent normally have the same thing. Is it vital to target the opponents Monk first?
my archer normal aim for enamy's monk first (someone suggested to me from guild) but i found it not really working out because once my front line dies, eventually my team slowly dies.
I was thinknig of switichng shamen (in lost of hell fire)to a prophet for extra protection for my meelee and some snipe damage...
e.g if you were fighting a team thats like:
:spm::swm::bst:
:art::witc::vik:
:mnk::gun::arc: (lets say gunner main)
what would you do?
who will you kill first or attack first?
thanks! will be very helpful to know lol

if im trying to win...do something about the vk and monk. dont care for witch so much since most people dont use her that well neways,spearman doesn't do much on his own, try to stun the whole team and then bleh kill kill and keep killing. If im bored and dont care if i lose, just mow them down 1 line at a time =)

that is not a good formation (the one u use as example with gunner main)
freeze front, silence mid to delay freezing axe and meteor. if the fella is smart abt awakening, go focus/butcher that spear. once spear is done, alternate mana seal+silence on back row, and freeze midline. by then, just kill as you wish, stay alive, and you win.
that wasn't so hard, was it?

In pvp, ranged to less damage vs staff mercs. I would use your ranged to take out the opponent's gun or cannon to hinder their stun potential. (Ranged deal more damage to other ranged).

or, even better, take out their middle row range units to make it so that you can use alternate mana seal / silence on the back row staff units!
its wonderful what we can accomplish with combining our ideas ^^

I'm using the same formation as yours, even same level, but having prophet instead of arty. It realy depends whats your enemy formation, but i usually do like this:
1. 1monk 1healer, good stun pressure: kill 1 of his vital stunners(usually on 2nd row, so i can silence the 3rd as someone of the above posters already mentioned) ,then shaman, then focus main. He just cant stand the spikes and usually i win very easily against such oponents no matter what mains they use.
2. 1monk 1 healer, some wacky build: kill shaman and go straight for his main if there isnt any other vital mercs that need attention. The more squishier the main is vs ranged attacks, the better for you.
3. 2 monk: kill one monk and his formation falls apart. Focus main or any vital merc.
4. staff main, 1 healer, monk, aoe build: i find thease the hardest to be honest, because of the insane healing output. It is not impossible, i usually go for the shaman, then pressure on his main so he is forced to go healing instead of evis scud.
Some tips: silence viking or exo if possible so you can delay his control abilities. If vik is on first lane, you can even do some melee pressure with BT and VIK so he has to choose either to remove silence or freeze, either to awaken. Always use mana seal in combo with freezing axe, so you can maixmize the effect of both spells. Never waste mana seal if you dont synergize it with something, lets say you have both archers with 200 ap and you can snipe 3 times for 2 rounds with both and healing needs to be shut down.
I hope thease tips help and good luck with the game :)

yea, these tip definately help lol
i constantly loose in FL, i think cause no matter war fomration, i go for the monk first. I find thier healers always in my way to kill their monks lol
Most of the ppl in FL are stun builds, i found myself trying to target their monk.
normally when i take out one of their mercs, my formation is almost dead in the front line.. but i go and target their monk regardless of formation, so i think that may be my weakness.
i'll try that and update here hehe
thanks guys for awsome tip :D

From tips above, targeting their vital merc's depending on thier build does work, providing that my musician has good gears equipped at my level cause his surviability is seriously pretty low. In my formation, i also got rid of my Shamen for a prophet, which made my front line stronger and can do more damage to specific mercs... Which again reduce my survivability for the additional damage.
P.s. the most annoying are those main arrow build, all they do is click on my main and hit hit hit hit hit until it dies... thats why i got a prophet so they can taste their own stupid arrows : /
now my build is:
:malehero::bst::swm:
:arc::vik::art:
:mnk::pro::exo:
(i switch between exo and main)
Win rate is 45% :(
but better now, before i was on a loosing spree!
im now waiting to get my inventor and i'll get another monk!
