View Full Version : Most Epic...Lose?

I'm currently lvl 49 and I lost to a lvl 32. It was pretty bad but the guy had a very interesting formation. Here it is:

it was interesting in that he basically went for constant freezes/stun.
admitedly i'm a bit of a noob so that was probably also a factor.
even so, what do you guys think?

epic lose indeed. thats a crap formation that can be murdered by magic, AP drains. at higher lvls, this formation gets even more counters in the forms of prophet and elementalist.

lol yea.. loosing to lower lvl is rather depressing.. I have a decent team as well :( I was lvl 70 and lost to a lvl 56... god knows how...
What was stuffing me was those.. i dunno if its random scroll or not but my whole team get's silenced.. or their whole team, after awakening, there some scroll that used holy guard on their whole party... =.=

my average now turn into win 1/ loose 2.... :(

i mean.. i guess im still noobie...

its even more of an epic lose when you lose to someone lower level then you that has a horrible build.

I actually ran in to a similar formation that was in div 2, it works in a strange way that even if you're 2 mercs ahead they still function the same.

The guy rage quit tho after I proced a few shotguns.. >.>

I too have seen this build, as high as in the 80's-90's

It kicked my ass, since they were 20 levels ahead of me at the time. But my gunners did their job by stunning, and my swordsman and met strike still ate them up.

As to loosing to a lower level. I started in the league when beta was finished, at level 20. I beat the crap out of 30's and 40's simply because I knew how to select my mercs lol...that was a "secret" back in the begining of AO. People would bitch and complain that you cheat and blah blah blah, then you would own them and never see them again.
