How to change the voices?

anyways i was wondering how do you change the voice for the mercs or even the main (if that is possible)

im trying to make my own sound pack for my own. so any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by that? Do you mean different voices? I made a Japanese voice pack sometime ago that you could use.

I actually have every merc in my party named after a corresponding FF character build. This would be a neat idea to also sync up the voices.

Now if only FF1-9 had voiceovers to take from.

Ya that voice pack is amazing. The poor Miko's english voice actor sounds like she's sick, depressed, and doing a bad falsetto.

Am I the only one that plays with both the sound-effects and background music off? I haven't yet found a MMO where I could tolerate the music / sound that comes default in the game.

I usually just play with the music off and sound effects on since there's a lot of audio queues from the effects for what skills are being used. However, I don't really mind the music in this game.

My only qualm is that it would still only ever play one song. If I'm in an area for too long I'd prefer a cycle of songs or a playlist. I guess I'm destined to be stuck using an alternate application for my musical wants and needs.

atm im using "Sins of the solar Empire" voice pack

where the female and also male voices are really good

im still waiting for inventor and oracle voices tho

i got a robotic voice from Sins that is really good to use for him

and a very spiritual voice for the Oracle

Hi my 1st post here. Wondering if anyone has the NPC voice pack from jAO? I installed the full kAO voice pack before I installed the jAO pack from the 1st page (that's a mouth full o_O). So it's a bit weird having my main & mercs speak in Japanese but NPCs speak in Korean. :p

Well it is considered changing something on the client side, but there's no advantage to the player other than hearing voices he/she wants to hear & enjoying the game more. I'm not saying it's allowed because of that reason, I'm saying they won't know if no one tells. lol

I must be the only person who puts up with the "American" voices. Then again, it has this amusing "cheesy 2nd rate anime dub" feel, combined with the combat engine, and the music. Course, I turned the music off and just play my music from Winamp, but oh well.

Just reinstalled Atlantica &I have to say, the English voices aren't that bad. :p I just don't understand why my Beast tamer keeps sayng "Boring Attack". lol Yeah it's roaring attack, but it comes normally after she says "I'm bored", so boring attack makes sense. :p
