EDIT: It's RANGED not TANGED sorry >.<

Basically you might know me as DimSumRanger the crazy person with a ranged build (bow main). I plan on my future build being:
:can::inv::exo:
:pro::femalehero::arc:
:ora::prn::mnk:
I plan to permanently silence the viking/axemain to prevent the need to holy guard my front, since that would cancel out valuable def buffs. So far at lv 53 i have:
:art::femalehero::art:
:arc::bst::arc:<--BT is spaceholder for princess
:sha::gun::mnk:
and i managed to make it into div 13 pretty easily so at least for now, this build works. Just wondering how this would do later on...I really like this build, and the whole idea is to be unique and hopefully prolong the survival of the front by DEBUFFing the enemy's attacks with princess&prophet and mass DoT with everything that i have. Every member of the party is supported by some sort of passive skill. I know for sure that if i can debuff the enemy's damage to an extent where my frontline can hold for 6~7 turns (with some switches here and there of course) and then i should be guaranteed a win due to DoTs. And holy guard will be kept on the backline to prevent mana seal, since that would KILL this formation entirely.

If your strategy is indeed to AOE and outlast, you have iffy chance vs a standard tank line + whatever behind it, simply because that front will drop long before the AOE (with no witch) takes its toll or time starts to run out.

Prophet debuff has no effect on magic skills, just flame swords are still going be a world of hurt.

You're better off switching the prophet with a gunner, as the debuffs really don't do anything to reduce magic damage.

Believe this or not.. it seems to me that archers up front make much better tanks than arts, simply due to their ability to dodge. And one Holy Guard to anyone on their line who can freeze you will get you frozen.

And yeah.. in the ideal formation I'd swap the prophet for an archer and switch spots with the cannon at least. I don't know why so many ranged builds even use prophet.. unless I'm seriously missing something. Most of the time damage seems to come from skills, so having an extra archer to silence rather than a prophet comes off as more practical to me.

Bow main.. you could probably just toss this out front and put the inventor behind it, assuming you don't mind nonstop guarding except to use Chaos Wind.

archer in front is very dangerous tho, if the normal dodge comes, ur fine
but if the enemy gets slightly lucky and hit, ur dead
