This advice is when i got from my mentor

1-map out whole world(you must start at sapporo coz no enjoyment if you start from harbin, hanyang and pusan

2-get all 3 infos asap- well when you get 3 stars info(basic, location, and items) you get many double item and you will see like

Healing potion low 3x1(+1)

3) hex of darkness is not useful and also breakdown

4) there is a npc at calcutta which gives alot of money everytime you answer correctly

5)take part in free league in middle or end 20

6) farm ashen crystal for sake of urself

7) ask around if that item needed to be buy or not coz someone said who drops dogwood fruit and then someone replied market... hell no if you got margo family infos you get a good drop

that is all what im thinking now

Check the quest log periodically so that you don't find yourself missing a lv18 monk quest when you're well into your 40's.

Find a mentor, if you find a good one, you may get help.
If you find an honest one, you may get 200k.
If you find a lousy one...ouch.

Breakdown is useful to me, only since I run melee heavy team, so hitting flying monsters is a pain. It's situational i suppose.

Think about your skills as a whole before you start adding too much, as it is very expensive to decrease a skill

Use the Game Info tab. Often. For everything.

I didn't know what mentoring was. I accepted someones invite about it. I just hit 30 and saw and alert that he got 200k. Great system there.

My advice is:
FIXED price means that you should NEVER buy anything for higher than that price, nor SELL an item higher for that price. The game put those into the market to provide unlimited items at a certain price to control the economy. They're not cheap prices, but not exorbitant. Don't be stupid and try to sell things for HIGHER than the market fixed price.

Olmec, many people "store" their items in the market by pricing it higher than the fixed price to free up inventory space.

The game doesnt auto-run if you alt+tab it *learned the hard way after setting my char to auto-run and alt+tabbing for 30 minutes, only to find my character in the same spot

Whenever items are handed out for guild events never sell to the guy who randomly sends you a message asking to buy them even though you didnt mention selling them. Odds are he is trying to make a buck off you. I had a guy offer me 1000gold for the dragon crystals when they were handing them out. He must of thought i was a real newb LOL

These are good advice for new players but sometime it is better to just buy the quest item from the market. It is faster and the time saving in most cases is worthwhile then farming.

As for breakdown it dont seem to be that great of a skill expecially being a main only spell. Seem ok for pve but as for pvp i will hold my rerserve on the skill unless when max the dmg output is increase inmersly

The mains/heros are supposedly getting a good balancing and some love in the massive update due next month. Eager to see what they have in store for my crappy Shaman hero. :P

The only advice I could think of is always in a party. This game promotes parties heavily, you could tell by how much benefits come with it.

before using skill books research the skill. skill resets are expensive and its a pain to level a new merc because of a bad skill

yeah. If they add some really good main-only skills then sword mains may become the new preferred main because of the +magic skill bonuses on their swords.

It's not like you can do anything to get info faster. Sure it's nice to get extra items, but farming a mob more than you absolutely have to just to get its info is a waste of time.

3) hex of darkness is not useful and also breakdown
Hell fire is decent and breakdown isn't that bad.

6) farm ashen crystal for sake of urself
No. Do not farm ashen crystals. It's a waste of time. Instead, trade books to goncourt, make several million in your first round of trading, and buy all the ashen crystals you'll ever need.

as i said earlier which i think people just read the below

its from my mentor
ok 1st you said that its not worth can you tell me why the attack of alloy doll fighter is so reduce to 1xx attack because i got all 3 stars info? its not for item too but its for the reducing attack

no comment on breakdown and hell fire coz its heal most of the mobs later

on the side ashen crystal hurm...... pity for ourselves which would give impact on just a sec

i got 3 stars info for black striped bat then my guild ask how can i got 5 +1 ashen and i said farm the mobs u farm the infos

But you spend so little time killing those low-level monsters. Why does it matter what the Alloy Doll fighter's damage is when it'll become obsolete in a few levels? I suppose if you have someone who's willing to share info it's a nice bonus, but in all likelyhood you'll end up being done with all the quests pertaining to any particular monster way before you get its item info, and there's no point in farming it more than you absolutely have to. You're better off doing more quests.

I can't understand what you said.

I'm not really seeing what's so special. You got lucky and managed to loot 5 ashen crystals, and you got one extra from farming the info. That one extra doesn't sound very significant compared to the time you spent farming info, especially since you could've made a few million gold from goncourt and bought several thousand ashen crystals in that same amount of time.

I've learned this pretty quickly in my first few days in the game:

Buy NPC items and resell them whenever you can for quick money. If you find a NPC selling ornate treasure map, pop them and chances are, you'll earn quite the profit for lower-level gears. You can never go wrong with a +4 Asura at level 25 ^^.

lumiere

before dismantle, make sure that the shards does not drop more than 10000.... +9 +10 equipment should not be dismantled....as system only gives max of 10000 shards.....

*ouch,, learn that the expensive way. (T_T)
