Scrolls in FL

So how many different type of scrolls are in FL and how exactly does nike spell book work? Is there a % chance for certain effects to happen and what kind of effects can u get?

I got hit by scroll of judgement... still won though but it was kinda scary.

From my FL experience, I've seen confusion,hex,silence,awakening,nike's which generated a scroll of judgment effect, and mana drain.
As for %'s I presume it would be all random but to truly know...we'd have to see the code and I don't think that'll be clearly visible anytime soon.

I got one that casted Holy Guard on my entire team (it was a Nike. I'm starting to suspect Nike is a random effect). It ended up killing me because I couldn't heal my main and it didn't block the Sudden Death HP decrease.

You forgot mana piercing - which I personally hate, because it gets cast on both teams, so it can end up screwing you over. Nike's can do a bunch of random things - the ones I can think of off the top of my head are Judge's Lightning, Holy Guard, Dark Forces, and Awakening. I miss having them in PVE - it was fun to use 'em, but now all we get are the vortex scrolls. ;_;

There are certain scrolls u can use on pvp; those that u can craft, one of them is the dispell scroll :D... very usefull to gun main who doesnt have guard dispell :S

no - only the effect is random - the trigger has to be activated by you. When one of the opponent mercs got a big symbol (looks like a flash to me) over her/his head - hit her/him and you will get a random scroll effect.
And about that crafted scrolls.... i hate it... now i really have to buy them too!? only because those rich bit...and bytes started to use them^^

Nike scrolls are always fun, judgement has the coolest. All random. I never thught about HG on the other team being a bad thing, I hope that happens soon so I can kill his main quickly.

You can make Dispel/Purification/Awakening Scrolls, it will cost roughly 10 million to get to level 15, the highest scroll.

As you get to div10-12 the fights pay for your use of scrolls.

I hate the confusion scroll. Ruined a clinched match I had by shoving my cannon main upfront and bam, died in 1 turn.

The holy guard is casted on your own team..and Judgment is like a 1k-1.5k aoe on the opponent, one of the harder hitting scrolls if not the hardest. So I think we've got most of the generated scrolls:

Confusion
Dark Forces (Hex of darkness)
Silence
Awakening
Mana Drain
Mana Pierce
Holy Guard
Judgment

Didn't include nike's since it casts one of the other spells.

Nike doesnt do awakening. It does however, do deep insight.

hehe first time I pvp I was aoeing and started haveing scroll casts over my head .. I though I was mistakenly casting my real scrolls so next round I took them all off my mercs and main and went again .. when I started casting scrolls I knew it had to be something eles ...
also Iron is right nike does not do awaken but there is a scroll cast that is just a whole party awaken real nice to get when you monk is stuned or frozen :)

What's this?
For the random scrolls in FL to activate, you have to hit the character who has the effect showing?

I thought you did this to stop the scroll from activaiting.

You should see an opponent with a blank scroll, you attack this merc to get a scroll. After someone gets a scroll, there should be the name of a scroll and someone activating it.

Not that bad at higher levels. It does significantly less damage than a meteor. In fact, letting a dark forces scroll run for the full duration would do the same or more damage.
