Why would this be bad for pvp?

I haven't played enough high level pvp to know, so could anyone just tell me why such a simple guard dispel, freeze, AP drain, light stun pressure build, then murder build wouldn't work?

ditch midline spear for cannoneer/jani/arty and ur set. you need more stun pressure than wat you have now, and inventors aren't exactly reknowned for fantastic AP you know...and you can't control the damned machine (which will definitely not always hit/go the way you want it to).

It will definitely be effective against many builds.

However, builds with a monk or 2, elementalist, and maybe even prophet with spear debuff, or perhaps just a build that deals a lot of damage (spike builds) can hurt your build rather easily, esp. since you don't have a healer. perhaps even worse would be snipe builds.

Trading one of your spears for an oracle may be a better option for you.
