Omoikane, reporting from the GNGWC '08 tournament grounds, has been keeping people posted on the official Atlantica Forums on the results of the tournament.

Standings:

Kiru (Korea) PK (Korea), defeated (3:1) by Kiru Xalor (Singapore) 102 (Japan)
Omoikane, Sola and Khai are tied for 5th place. We are currently looking for footage of the event as well as more details!

Yea footage would be awesome...especially since it's really rare. As for mains, i think they have a split between axe and cannon.

archer bow works too because mana seal + silence is kind of nice in any pvp formation....

I was expecting Axe or Cannon main from the winner, but wayy to prove me wrong. AoE pressure build is becoming increasingly popular now huh.

Are these the best players from the Asian servers?
Would be interesting to see how XarGrrr fares against them. Was he even able to take part in this comp or was the "anglicized" game too young for that?

I've sen mostly cannon and axes too but I'm hoping to see more of the others in the top ten after first massive update... maybe there will be some kick-ass combos with the new mercs. ^_^

That kinda shows that the axe and cannon mains are the best.

Ah well, chose the wrong one.
Hopefully update will rebalance things a bit, perhaps by improving viking's low ap rate?
