Swordsman and Exo Dmg Comparison.

Ok, My swordsman is lvl 68 with 557 str. DMG range 807-947.
My exo is lvl 52 with 497 str. DMG range 857- 997.

They both have the exact same equips but why is my exo strong then my swordsman? I thought swordsman were stronger.

well, exo is a c grade mercenary, makes sense its stronger,

i thought exo are rank B merc? the swordsman is a normal merc not my main.

I'm a sword main and barely a day goes by that I do not curse the fact. If I don't, it's usually because I skipped wasting my time in free league.

It might be that exos get a higher return from strength than swords, but that would be extremely inconsistent. Otoh this is AO where the developers consider the answer to "WTF do the stats do?" a national secret.

I figure the Koreans might trade stat info for, say, half of America. In Korea, computer game trivia is like real estate.

ah ok that may be another reason, stats may raise more dmg for exo cuz he is a rank C merc where as swordmans is rank D.

ok I just tested out the how much str each dmg gave. I found this out:
For every 11 str my swordsman got, it increased his dmg by 7
For every 11 str my exo got, it increased his dmg by 4.

This makes everything more confusing because my swordsman has at least 60 more str then my exo.

Exo and Swordsmen have the same base damage according to the website, too. Wierd... maybe you get a damage bonus for fighting without a shield equipped?

nope, shield does not effect the dmg, just tested.

dmg are determined by grade, or else there'd no point of hiring higher grade mercs.

Exos are like spellcounters, not fighters. They are used for their mana seal more than damage. As for damage, I would think swordies do more.

Do u have proof that they are determined by grade?. Other people i ask, their swordsman are stronger then their exo. Only my exo is stronger then my swordsman so far.
