hey, i've posted this topic at other place, but i think this is the perfect place to post

So, hey ppl..how are you?

I need some help.. i've been looking for a pvp build on the net, but its difficult. I need your help now.
So, in your opinion, whats the best pvp build? I know that some of you are going to say, there's no best build, there's the build that you most like, but i want your opinion guys. The best build for pvp. I may change my main class (axe main now) too if its necessary to have the best build, because i really love the pvp in atlantica, and i'm playing to be the best in pvp..LOL

thank you verry much for you atention. SOrry for my poor english, i dont speak pretty well. bye bye guys!

At the moment there isn't really a build that stands out. Your best bet is a balanced build which uses 4 melee, 3 ranged and 2 casters.

For example:

Axe main

:malehero::spt::exo:
:spm::sha::pro:
:arc::mnk::jan:

There's a lot of flexibility with which merc you use and may use, but following a balanced formation similar to this seems to be the best at the moment.

atm, the most successful (not the best, but the one that seems to work better more often) build right now is an AOE build. As an axe main, you might be able to pull that off:

:malehero::lak::bst:
:pro::witc::arc:
:exo::mnk::sha:

Basically, you bide until you get to turn 4 or 5, then you throw a scroll on the witch, meteor, summon, freeze, seal, all at the same time. This usually throws your opponent off, unless he knows what he is doing. If you want more AOE, switch to staff main and switch the main with the exo.

note, this is not including all the fancy schmancy B mercs, don't even both thinking about them...yet

I fought a lvl 105 sword main the other day in FL (I'm lvl 85). He had no monk. I perma stunned him for the entire game, and kinda owned him. He called me "cheap" and "unfair" just because I exploited his weakness.

Moral of the story: Stun builds own in FL

I noticed this thing at your message. Whats your build? is that one that you send me?

:malehero::lak::bst:
:pro::witc::arc:
:exo::mnk::sha:

Thank you verry much!

so..what should i choose? =O..hehe.. i really like the second one just because it has more similar mercs with my original plan of build then the first one. But the first one is different, its the first time i've seen this formation for an axe main! It appears to be nice too. but i cant decide..=D

Try the 2nd one first if you already have mercs for it. It's pretty ok too but I would move archer to 3rd row and put shaman in 2nd row.

And also, the 2nd one doesn't require a spartan to work ;)

i've looked for your build..and i didnt see a big advantage for having the Janissary at the formation.. y do you think its great to have him in the formation? Ty

He has 2 major purposes. The first one is for splitting up stun pressure...

For example Jani attacks top column while your Spartan or Spear attacks bottom column, creating an scenario where it's impossible to all mercs.

2nd use for the Jani is for his ultra strong attack damage after self buff (at least after they fix the physical damage).

The formation already has 2 power house spears type mercs so adding Jani to the mix will allow you to put heavy damage pressure on a column; preventing holy guard and we all know column damage is much harder to heal than row damage.

And lastly, he has the bonus of helping with scroll canceling so your archer will be free to silence instead.

i see..but i think should have a Witch and a Lk, a lot of ppl tell me that is verry important, witch, lk and the oracle (i'll have to drop the oracle now), but at least the witch and lk, dont you think its verry important?

They're very good before level 100, after level 105 they get weaker comparing to other mercs the higher you level.

Note: Spartan replace LK, so before you get Spartan feel free to use LK
