I can answer a few questions, you need to be lvl 20 to creat a guild. And 50.000 Gold i think. Then you can create a guild in any town at the Guild Office. You dont need any player, you can create a guild alone. Guild craft can only officer start - all member of the guild will work on the workload if they doesnt have an personal craft. And at the end of the craft any member will get craft-exp depends on the workload they make. And to form a nation you need a level 30 Guild an 3 Millionen Gold. Think that was all ^^

you also need guild points 1000 minimum to bid on a town for ownership!

To e a good guild with a town requires alot of work. Your gunning for guild points to get any open towns and you want maxed out membership at all times.

Organzing those who want to craft and what they want to craft is important. Constantly have crafts going if you want, they give ok points. It is beneficial for the crafter to get everyone to lvl 1 first, so he can get his exp from teaching everyone who split workload.

My first tip would be: try and make a real guild. Managing a guild requires effort, knowledge and people skills. The first means you probably won't be able to run 2 guilds at once, the second means you probably can't run the first at this point in time (since members have expectations from their guild leader) and i won't comment on the third since i don't know your experience IRL :).

Having a successful guild takes more than saying "i want a guild, i want lots of people, i want a town, we own". As a guild leader members look up to you and have expectations from you so you need to make sure you prove that you are suited to be a leader (usually either by being extremely knowledeable or by being extremely charismatic).

Basically the guild is its people, not the town, not the "guild structure" or its money.

The best way to learn how to use a guild is to be a guild leader, just play around with the functions till you get used to it. If you can find some friends who are guild leaders they can help you out more. You can always start a guild craft to earn both guild xp and guild points, incase you have extra guild funds from a town. Also, once you get like 5 people or so, you can start doing a TC (training center) run in order to get some points. Maybe once you get like 10 people or so 50+, you can try a guild dungeon for some extra rewards.

And don't feel pressured to know everything. A great leader always has a great board of directors ;)

Ask your officers, chat in guild chat, reflect ideas off one another. Don't be a tyrant. When my guild got a town in OB we all learned about it together. Your officers should either craft alot or really know there way around the game.

you talking about nation wars? i thought they threw in a disband-protection in form of not beeing able to create another nation for 2 weeks or so.
But never saw some information bout that on notices - only in nation chat. (well, maybe i just didnt find it^^)

I don't recall there being any disband protection. Lots of people still seem to be requesting such a thing. At any rate, you don't have to worry about wars if you aren't in a nation anyways. Unless you are a victor of nation wars, there doesn't seem to be too much game-play point to being in a nation anyways until you can do nation dungeouns (However, Nation Chat is VERY VERY nice, IMHO).

Don't you need to get to level 5 in five days to keep your guild when you just start?

5 in 5 days, 10 in 10 i think and 16 in 30 or somthing like that or guild vanishes in to the ether

yep havin a guild is fun with the right people, i'm lucky as in i started a guild with 4 other people who are all great, we all get on and we are all learing a lot as we go and share it accordingly

we have a lot of active members who are very keen to do training and guild dungeons and its all goin really well lol only thing we need now is a town to keep so that 20k-30k guild points to bid on it (16k seems an ave at moment for that) and keep it (towns can be taken over after 7 days of ownership by another guild bidding on them) all good fun thou which is what its all about!!!

btw we just made the top 20 list on the training center, man were we happy lol

Guild Operation Textbooks. They sell for 1-2million ony m server if your lucky and give 500 guild pts.. a nice way to boost your pts to make that bid or keep that town. They are given by other guilds who cash in 550pts at the pointy to get a book worth 500
